"Well, my customers are dead."

Tanako is the manager and owner of the fast food joint Tanako's Tacos. She was once an aspiring painter while she was in high school, but her parents wouldn't stop nagging her about her creative passions not being a real career. After being fed up, she used up her college savings to start her own restaurant, constantly nagging her employees. The last time she had a grasp of her dreams was when she painted her restaurants menus, but now all she does is live the life of a dull manager.

​A decade later, she hires Hazuki, only to end up getting annoyed by Hazuki's naive undying passion to follow her dreams. However, this is where her life will finally start to turn around.

Trivia

• Tanako used to play a very minor role with barely any importance. Upon the release of Imouto RPG 2, she received positive feedback by players, causing the development team to give Tanako a much larger and more important role in Hazuki Dies.
